🌻In 1995, UNESCO decided to celebrate April 23 as the World Book Day or World Book and Copyright Day, since then the date has prominence in the history of literature. As for why it’s April 23,according to the Wikipedia, the date is also the anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes , William Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, as well as that of the birth or death of several other prominent authors.
