Root Chakra- (Muladhara)

The Root chakra is particularly about connecting to the ground.  Expressions like “Be on firm ground” and “Getting on your feet again” convey a good connection as well as an open Root chakra.

The Root Chakra is found at the base of our spine. This is our foundation. The basic issues associated with the root chakra are human instinct, survival,action,trust and primal energy. The body parts associated with the root chakra are anus, coccyx, large intestine, adrenal glands, back, legs and feet .

Seed sound: LANG

Red- 

The main color of root chakra is red which is also the most dense color of all chakra colors. Red is the color of the life force. It is the color of blood and the first color we come into contact when we are born.

Red means energy and our connection with the Earth and carries the promise of survival. Thus,having some red food would boost, stimulate and nourish our root chakra. 🙂

Reflection-

“I am dancing wild with fire…but also observing !!!! ”

After finishing this drawing,I accidentally cooked the whole red pepper for dinner without noticing.  However, I just noticed it until the next day when i was munching papaya during the Sacral Chakra painting.  I knew our physical body is more intelligent than what we can imagine,but this time the experience of how I gulped big red pepper to nourish/heal myself without noticing really made me speechless. It’s so amazing!!
