“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.” ― Melody Beattie
“These are the children that I’m gonna meet once. Within one hour, what theme I should choose to inspire & benefit their life or shift their energy instantly.” This was the question I constantly asked myself before the actual event happened. Many ideas came across my mind. However, I just couldn’t make up my mind.
Until one afternoon, Gregg Braden’s words suddenly came to my mind when I was listening to a friend’s speech – “Perception is a key component to gratitude. And gratitude is a key component to joy”. I also remembered he once mentioned that gratitude opens the DNA. Gratitude allows healing and blessings to occur. A-ha! That’s it! Therefore, we had the theme “Gratitude” that day.
Children’s drawings reveal a lot of information about their inner world. For children, drawing is an activity of projection – their current emotions, troubles, desires, even personalities. This is also why/how I can help troubled school kids or orphans more than a decade. (I’m grateful.🙏) Just hope I would be able to chat with some of them individually next time (if there is one). 💗
All in all, I’m humbled and honored to have the precious opportunity to be their Kids’ Yoga & Arts Therapy instructor.
May all the angels be blessed, loved, guided & guarded always!
