Sweet memories! I still feel honored, humbled and grateful to be able to teach and meet these angels. They joined my Kids’ Yoga & Art after-school weekend programs for 4 – 5 rounds, almost 2 years. (Besdies my daytime teaching job, they motivated me quite busy brainstorming more new integrative teaching materials.
)
Teaching is a responsibility, doesn’t matter it’s for kids or adults.
I’m always aware rigorously that once I stand in front of the students, the words I speak and behaviors I act/react can affect them easily- for kids sometimes the effects last a lifetime. (It’s also one of the reasons motivating me to join various trainings & keep learning. )
The responsibility as a teacher also motivates me to move forward (not to be trapped in my previous miserable personal life) and keep growing.
This is also why I always feel grateful for my students – kids and adults. (Yes! I can be moody, lazy and slow, like a sloth.
