Inktober – 2: Suit

👗👚 Paper Dolls used to be one of my favorite toys when I was little , around 9 yrs old. Girls playing paper dolls was a fashion at school, too.😌 (Boys were crazy about playing dodge balls.😁) The dolls normally looked like nothing related to my Asian look (that’s also how I drew girls😊) and the clothes were also not something I would wear in my daily life as well. Just let my Imagination ran free😁🤦.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.” – Steve Jobs.

A lot of flash backs – bitter & sweet – appeared while drawing these little paper toys. I just want to say thank you thank you to my parents, family and the people whoever taught/helped/guided me along the way. Without all of you, there will be no me here.🙏💗💙💚💛💜.

❓What is paper doll? Paper dolls are figures cut out of paper or thin card, with separate clothes, also made of paper, that are usually held onto the dolls by paper folding tabs.
